To help butchers to make the most of the growing premium burger trend, EBLEX has developed a new ‘Gourmet Burger’ point-of-sale (POS) kit which contains useful marketing materials to use in-store.
The kit contains a ‘Lamb, Apricot and Coriander Burger’ recipe poster and two ‘Gourmet Burger’ cabinet branding cards. It also contains a pack of recipe leaflets and 40 Simply Burger recipe books, which butchers can use to inspire their customers.
The POS kit is the latest from EBLEX’s Gourmet Burger range, which was developed to add value to the burger and mince market. Research conducted by EBLEX found that mincing trim from the rump, chuck or brisket can significantly improve margin potential, as well as creating different taste and texture profiles which many consumers prefer.
To make the most of the gourmet burger trend, EBLEX suggests that butchers enhance their burger ranges by stocking premium beef, lamb and veal burgers, and quality mince for those customers keen to make their own at home.
The kits will shortly be issued to Quality Standard Mark (QSM) Scheme* members who have pre-registered to receive QSM marketing support materials.
