Organisers of the UK meat industry’s only dedicated trade exhibition, Meatup, have announced that a new speaker has joined the line-up.
Nathan Ward, business unit director for Meat, Fish and Poultry at Kantar Worldpanel, will host the opening talk in the seminar theatre on Wednesday 24th May at ArenaMK, Milton Keynes.
Ward has more than 15 years’ experience at Kantar Worldpanel across a wide range food and drink markets, and now specialises in meat market intelligence.
Ward’s talk will take the form of an exploration of consumer meat purchasing trends, looking at the journey from fixture to fork; helping visitors to understand the big shopper and consumer trends affecting meat and poultry now and into the future.
Other speakers confirmed for the show include: AHDB Beef & Lamb’s Dr. Phil Hadley, The National Food Crime Unit’s Gavan Wafer, the Association of Independent Meat Suppliers’ Norman Bagley, Leatherhead Food Research’s Peter Wareing and Aubrey Allen’s Lucianne Allen.
