Due to unprecedented demand, the voting deadline for this year’s Women In Meat Industry Awards has been extended by two days until midnight on Friday 17th September.
Having received a wide range of nominations from right across the UK meat industry, there are now 46 contenders this year and voting for the various category finalists is still live at the official website.
The voting process is quick and easy. To see the finalists and to vote for your choice go to: https://womeninmeatawards.com/vote/
The unique annual awards will once again culminate in a celebratory black tie dinner and ceremony plus an after party in London on 18th November. Over nine thousand votes were received last year and organisers are hopeful for an even bigger response this time around.
Editor of Meat Management magazine Jane Connolly commented: “All the team at Meat Management are really looking forward to recognising the amazing contribution women make to our industry once again in 2021.
“Naturally we are particularly delighted that we are back to organising an in-person event and I hope as many readers as possible will now vote for the 2021 finalists online. We have created a bit more time so that everyone who wants to can have their say.”
Olympian and broadcaster Katherine Merry will host the ceremony and make the presentations at the Hilton London Metropole.
Full details of all ten categories and online voting can be found at www.womeninmeatawards.com. Tables and tickets for 18th November can also be booked at the website.
