Whole Foods Market has recalled a number of its chicken salad products as they may contain undercooked chicken.
The recall specifically refers to Whole Foods Market’s Yummy Mum’s Chicken Salad Sandwiches on Granary, with a use-by date of 30th June 2016, its Mum’s Chicken Salad (Deli Pot, 180g, with a use-by date of 3rd July 2016, its Chicken Salad (sandwich on Turkish flat bread), with a use-by date of 30th June 2016, and it Picnic Mezze Set, 480g, with a use-by date of 2nd July 2016.
The company will display point-of-sale recall notices in stores where the products are sold.
In a statement Whole Foods Market said: “We have identified Mum’s chicken salad products have been contaminated with a small amount of undercooked chicken.“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
Customers who have purchased the product should not eat it and are advised to return it to store for a full refund.
