Peter’s acquires Mom’s Fabulous Foods
Peter’s Foodservice has acquired Farnham-based gourmet hot dog business, Mom’s Fabulous Foods.
Mom’s Fabulous Foods supplies to stadiums, travel hubs, pub groups and fast food outlets across the country and has a turnover in excess of £2million.
Caerphilly-based Peter’s has been in business for over 50 years selling its own manufactured savoury pastry products into both retail and foodservice, including licensed brands such as Heinz and Bisto.
The new deal is set to expand the Peter’s food-to-go offering while giving the Mom’s brand access to Peter’s’ customer base across retail, foodservice, stadiums, caterers and fast food outlets through Peter’s ten van sales depots across the UK.
Finance director for Peter’s Foodservice, David Peek, said: “We are delighted to reach this agreement and further expand our product offering, especially in the fast growing food to go sector.”
Founder of Mom’s Fabulous Foods, Nick Pagett, who will remain as Mom’s managing director, added: “Having worked with Peter’s for several years and seeing the growth of Mom’s within Peter’s, I am delighted to have reached this agreement which will be a catalyst to further growth.”
