Q Guild appoints new manager
Gordan Newlands has been appointed as the new manager of the Q Guild, having previously been an active member for six years, until 2010.
Gordon Newlands has been appointed as the new manager of the Q Guild.
He returns with experience as director of operations at Bidvest Campbell Brothers, based in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, who supply meat, seafood and other produce to the UK catering industry.
Newlands said: “I am delighted to be back in among some of the best butchers in Britain. All are at the top end of their game, their pedigree is second to none and I want to continue to help enhance the undoubted craftsmanship of our Q Guild butchers.
“Membership is also a priority of my job and I will be seeking not only to consolidate the existing membership, but also to introduce new members to the virtues of being a Q Guild butcher. I will also be keeping in touch with our corporate members. They are crucial to the Q Guild membership and an integral part of the team,” he added.
