Sainsbury’s to stock 100% fresh pork
Multiple giant Sainsbury’s has committed to offering 100% fresh British pork from Wednesday this week
This means the supermarket will be sourcing 70% more British pigs than previously. Reacting to the news Zoe Davies from The National Pig Association said: “The NPA is of course pleased by this important move.
“Now all their fresh pork, ham and sausages are British. We look forward to working with them to focus on large volume lines such as bacon.”
