Tulip raises £80,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation

Tulip Ltd, a leading supplier to the retail and foodservice markets, has raised £80,000 for Make-A-Wish UK, an organisation which makes dreams come true for young people fighting life-threatening conditions.

Tulip raises funds so that wishes like this can be fulfilled by Make-A-Wish.

Tulip’s Group HR director Kirsty Wilkins reflected on the past 24 months of the fundraising partnership: “We are delighted to have been able to support Make-A-Wish UK over the past two years and know that the £80,000 we have raised has gone towards helping them grant many wishes to young people across the country.

“I’m incredibly proud of my colleagues at Tulip who have pulled out all the stops to help raise the much needed funds by organising a wide range of fund raising activities, from golf days, car and bike shows in factory car parks to parachute jumps, there isn’t much they haven’t done.”

The Make-A-Wish Foundation was formed in 1986 helps makes dreams come true for deserving children and their families. This year they celebrated granting its 10,000th wish.

Commenting on the fundraising, CEO of Make-A-Wish UK, Jason Suckley, continued: “Thank you to Tulip for supporting Make-A-Wish UK over the last two years. The fantastic total of £80,000 raised by staff will help grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of some of the most deserving children and young people across the UK. We want to grant the wishes of over 1,000 seriously ill children this year and funds raised will help us achieve this.”
