The judging process took place at the UK Sausage Week test kitchens at Milton Keynes College.

Sausages were prepared by a team of professional home economists to ensure consistency across all product entries.

The judging panel assessed taste and smell, as well as how the sausages looked raw and cooked. Packaging and consistency were also judged along with overall product value.

This year’s finalists will be revealed in due course, and all eyes now look to the UK Sausage Week awards ceremony on Monday 27th October, where winners will be revealed at Butchers’ Hall in London.
