Graham Yandell MBE, publisher of Meat Management magazine, which organises UK Sausage Week, stated: “It’s a pleasure to be able to recognise these well-deserving businesses for the quality sausage products that they are producing.

“To take a mealtime staple like the sausage and create a quality product time and time again is an impressive feat, and these awards are truly a testament to the creativity, hard work, time and care that has been put into each flavour, old and new. Congratulations to all of the 2025 winners!”

Master of the WCB Gwyn Howells added: “It has been a real pleasure to join in the celebrations today and to make the presentations to all the competition winners. And what better place to do this than Butchers’ Hall, it has been a real success.”

Fergus Howie, managing director of Wicks Manor, was delighted with the award of UK Supreme Sausage Champion, commenting: “Winning UK Supreme Sausage Champion for our Olde English Pork Sausage is incredible. We are so proud of what we produce at Wicks Manor and very grateful for this amazing recognition.”
