Warm welcome to news of first online Meat Management Industry Awards

The announcement that the Meat Management Industry Awards 2020 will be presented in an online format for the first time has been well received by partners of the initiative and members of the wider industry.

Winners of the 2020 Meat Management Industry Awards will be announced online on September 8th.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on September 8th at 4:30pm and will also be available on-demand afterwards, further widening its appeal and its reach to partners and the marketplace.

Graham Yandell, publisher of Meat Management magazine, said: “The response we have had from our partners and everyone involved in this initiative has been tremendous.

“For some time there was a focus on the type of ceremony that would work best for all involved given the challenging and uncertain circumstances created by Covid-19, but everyone at Meat Management has worked extremely hard to organise a wonderful celebration of the British meat industry.”

“Obviously it’s a shame that we can’t hand out the awards in person to some of the best in the UK meat industry, but the ceremony, as always, will still shine a light on all the brilliant people, companies and organisations that make this industry what it is.”

The fact we’re still able to have the awards ceremony, in such a new and exciting format, is brilliant.
