Welsh Country Foods back up for sale
According to local news reports the Welsh Country Foods plant in Gaerwen, bought by 2 Sisters Food Group just three months ago is back up for sale.
The Daily Post in North Wales reports that despite hopes that lamb production may have been restarting 2 Sisters review of the site found no use for it and has decided to sell it on.
The Post quotes a spokeswoman from 2 Sisters as saying: ” We have undertaken a full and detailed internal review of the site over recent weeks.
“Unfortunately, it does not meet our business requirements and will therefore be put up for sale in the next few weeks.”
