With the 2025 Women In Meat Industry Awards dinner and ceremony rapidly approaching, organisers are encouraging guests that have not yet booked their tickets, to take advantage of the discount offer that finishes this week.
Those booking tables by close of business on Thursday 23rd October can save £150 on a table for 10 guests. To book or for more details click here.
The annual initiative celebrates the women working in - and helping to shape the future of - the British and Irish meat industries. Over 9,000 votes were received this year, once again confirming the popularity and importance of the Women In Meat Industry Awards.
This year’s awards programme will culminate in a black-tie dinner and ceremony at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday evening 21st November, where the winners of each category will be revealed.
Lead organiser for the event Sharon Yandell commented: “We can’t wait to welcome our guests to the 2025 Women In Meat Industry Awards! There’s still time for those who have not booked tickets to benefit from the early-bird booking discount on tables of 10, so I would urge anyone interested to book tickets now. It is a most enjoyable and important networking event.
“This year we will once again be celebrating in style at the prestigious Royal Lancaster Hotel, with guests to be welcomed at a sparkling drinks reception before being seated for dinner. Following the evening entertainment and awards presentations, the dance floor will open up for the ever popular after party.
“This unique and much-anticipated dinner and ceremony will highlight many talented people from across the meat industry, and we are extremely proud to stage this wonderful occasion.”
The deadline for the early-bird booking discount is Thursday 23rd October. To benefit from the discount, tickets must be booked before midnight to save £150 on table bookings.
Star power at the 2025 Women In Meat Industry Awards
Leading impressionist Rory Bremner will co-host the awards alongside actor, broadcaster and writer Julie Peasgood. The 12 category winners will be revealed, before the final unveiling of the 2025 Meat Businesswoman of the Year.
When asked what guests should expect from him as host of the awards ceremony, Bremner commented: “The most important thing is to relate to the audience and find out beforehand what they do, so you can expect some topical references as well as some old favourites.”
Speaking about the 2025 ceremony, Graham Yandell MBE, publisher of Meat Management, which stages the initiative, stated: “It is a delight to be able to welcome Rory Bremner to the stage this year. He will also be assisted by Julie Peasgood, who I have worked with previously. Julie is a good friend and I know to be a delightful compere.
“I can assure guests a fantastic and memorable evening for all who attend. And don’t forget to take advantage of the early-bird booking discount for the best rates!”
