YPL Exhibitions has announced the launch of a new exhibition for the food sector. The Food Science & Technology Show will be staged at the NEC Birmingham on 1st and 2nd July 2015 and will co-locate with the MEATUP trade show taking place over the same period.
Exhibition organiser Emma Cash explained the rationale behind the event: “The safe delivery of our food could not be more important. Indeed, the ‘Horsegate’ problems over the summer have been well documented and is just one recent example of why good practice involving such things as traceability, food analysis, food monitoring, food sourcing and diagnostics, plus the myriad of all related aspects now required in the delivery of safe food to meet tighter legislation is key to the food business.
“With the new exhibition co-locating with the MEATUP show, which is a dedicated meat industry event, the areas of interest for visitors will expand considerably and we believe this is a perfect example of good synergy adding value for our visitors across both events. We chose the NEC as a world class exhibition venue and I am sure the experience for both exhibitors and visitors will be a positive one”.
