Deadline for FMT Awards votes and nominations fast approaching

The meat sector and those within the wider food industry are being encouraged to send in their nominations and cast their votes for the upcoming Food Management Today Industry Awards before the 2nd November deadline.

Meat processors and retailers from the meat sector are able to nominate products for theses categories:

Most Innovative Packaging Development

Best Frozen Product

Best Red Meat Product

Best Poultry Product

Best ‘Free From’ Product

Best New Product Development

Voting is also open until the 2nd November for the following categories:

Food Manufacturer of the Year

Best Ingredients Supplier

Best Machinery/Equipment Supplier

Best Trade Organisation

Best Training Initiative

Food Retailer of the Year

 Food Industry Champion Award

Editor of both Meat Management and Food Management Today, Pam Brook, said: “With the deadline for nominations just under two weeks away, I would urge manufacturers and processors to simply nominate their products now rather than later.

“Judging is planned for later in the year, subject to Covid regulations and guidance, and you can nominate as many products as you like before the deadline closes.

“Voting is also open in seven other categories and again you may vote as many times as you wish and of course sharing widely with colleagues helps spread the word. It’s online, easy and quick, but of course you’ve got to be in it to win it. Good luck everybody!”

Full details of all categories and nominations can be found at www.foodmanagement.today/awards/. If you are interested in participating as a partner or a sponsor, contact Michelle Ingerfield: michelle.i@yandellmedia.com.
