Handtmann Ltd appoints new managing director
Handtmann Ltd has appointed Anthony Daniels as the new managing director of the company, who will take over from Martyn Garrod.
Anthony Daniels has been appointed the new managing director of Handtmann Ltd.
The company distributes filling and portioning equipment, and offers things such as vacuum filling machines, automatic linking, forming, depositing, conpro, and handling systems.
The equipment helps for products such as sausage, cooked meat, fresh mince, ball forming, burgers and more.
Daniels joined the company in 1997 as the first field service technician based remotely in the North of England.
He then progressed from his appointment as area sales manager for the North West in 2008 to sales manager for the UK and Ireland in 2016.
Daniels has taken over from Garrod who had worked at Handtmann Ltd since its inception in 1986 and had held the position of managing director since 2005.
Commenting on his replacement, Garrod said: “This change represents a new phase in the history of Handtmann and I wish Anthony every success in his new position and the acceptance of his new responsibilities.”
Garrod will stay on in an advisory capacity until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.
