FMT Food Industry Awards countdown to online ceremony
Anticipation is increasing as the industry looks forward to the annual FMT Food Industry Awards ceremony, which will broadcast online at 4.30pm on 1st July.
The prestigious annual awards recognise the hard work and excellence of food processors and manufacturers across the UK food sector, as well as trade organisations, retailers, ingredients suppliers, machinery and equipment companies, people and training.
This year the ceremony will be hosted by Alexis Conran who, as well as being a broadcaster in his own right, is a previous winner of the Celebrity MasterChef competition.
Publisher of Food Management Today Graham Yandell commented: “We are delighted that TV celebrity Alexis Conran will be presenting the ceremony for us this year. A popular and experienced broadcaster, I suspect he will have a few interesting anecdotes about Celebrity MasterChef to share.”
The annual awards feature a range of meat and poultry categories as well as various key industry sectors, including dairy, fish, baking, confectionery and packaging. This year’s Food Industry Champion will also be announced during the ceremony.
