The recent Meat Management Industry Awards 2014 dinner, attended by the UK's major industry players, raised a significant sum for this year's chosen charity, The Urology Foundation. The UK meat industry raised a very generous £7,875.00 in total. The three champagne raffle prizes went to John Davidson of Davidsons Retail Butchers, Paul Jarvis of Faccenda and Laura Yandell, daughter of Meat Management publisher, Graham Yandell.

Charity auction raises over £3,000

A replica 1966 England shirt, signed personally by guest speaker and footballing legend, Sir Geoff Hurst raised £3,250 in a charity auction and was bought by the winner of this year's Britain's Best Sausage Award, Graham White & Co. Meat Management publisher, Graham Yandell said: "A great result for a worthwhile cause. Thank you to everyone who gave so generously."
