Clayton Park Bakery has recalled a number of its sausage roll products as they may contain pieces of plastic.

The recall specifically refers to the following Clayton Park Bakery products with a use-by date of 3rd and 4th August 2016: its Sausage Roll Large, 143g, (Brand: Clayton Park), its 2 Pack Sausage Roll, 236g, (Brand: Clayton Park) its 3 Pack Sausage Roll, 354g, (Brand: Clayton Park) and its 16 Pack Mini Sausage Roll, 472g, (Brand: Spar).

James Hall and Co Ltd, the company which owns Clayton Park Bakery, has issued point-of-sale recall notices to the stores where the products are sold.

E H Booth & Co Ltd has also issued the same recall notice in its stores.

Customers who have purchased the product should not eat it and are advised to return it to store for a full refund.

No other Clayton Park Bakery products are known to be affected.
