The organisers of the Meat Management Industry Awards are encouraging anyone who has not yet nominated products to do so by this week's final deadline of Thursday 17th June.
Following substantial demand, the deadline for product nominations was extended from last Friday, but entries must close this week with product delivery and judging next week.
Nominating products is quick, easy and free – full details can be found on the official awards page of the Meat Management website.
Editor of Meat Management magazine, Jane Connolly said: “The number and spectrum of entries so far has been fantastic and we’re keen to give as many companies as possible the chance to be part of the industry’s biggest event of the year. However, we must close entries on 17th June so that our panel of judges can begin the interesting task of selecting winners.”
Once nominated, the products themselves must be delivered on Tuesday 22nd June to the Regional Food Academy at Harper Adams University, where judging takes place.
Lead organiser Sharon Yandell added: “We follow up by sending full information and details of how to send in products. It’s the last chance to enter and to stand the chance of receiving high profile recognition at the Meat Management Industry Awards ceremony on 9th September.”

Important Notice Covid-19 / Government Rulings: The organisers have set up facilities to judge all products which are entered and delivered by participants to the Harper Adams University test kitchens location. However, we take no responsibility should the judging not take place at the venue or on the dates publicised, should any circumstances outside of our control mean the facilities are not available or withdrawn, or if any rulings by Government prevent the judging and assembly from going ahead.
