Halal meat brand, Haloodies (Halal Foodies) has launched a new range on AmazonFresh, which is targeted to cater for busy millennial Muslims.

The new range, made up of 16 lines, will be available to Amazon Prime users living in 69 central and east London postcodes.

Fourteen lines of pre-packed fresh halal meat, including Grade A chicken and free-range lamb and beef cuts, as well as two lines offering a ready-to-eat, cooked chicken range will be available to customers.

Noman Khawaja, Haloodies co-founder and sales director of KKR Halal Ltd, which owns the Haloodies brand, said: “We have been working with Amazon for over a year planning our halal range. We are particularly excited about the launch of our new and versatile cooked chicken range which is completely new for the halal consumer to enjoy.

“We can bring convenience and taste to the consumer in a product that is 100% chicken breast meat and through AmazonFresh it will be delivered to your door with fast and flexible delivery.”

Imran Kausar, Haloodies co-founder and managing director of KKR Halal Ltd, added: “Our availability on AmazonFresh strengthens our proposition with our core customer group of millennial Muslims who are concerned about the general quality of halal products on the market and actively seek out a brand they can trust. As a 100% Muslim owned brand with a focus on quality and convenience, Haloodies can match those expectations.”

Haloodies was launched in 2014 and went on to become the first halal meat brand for online retailer, Ocado.
