Sausage and burger manufacturer Heck has recalled a steak burger product, which contains milk, after it was incorrectly labelled as a lamb burger, as the product poses a risk to consumers with a milk allergy.

The product affected is the Heck Minted Lamb Burgers 2 Pack 320g, with a use by date of 3rd April 2026.
Some packs contain the Heck Steak and Butter Burger, which includes milk, but were incorrectly packed in the Minted Lamb sleeve.
Heck said this poses a risk to customers with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
The manufacturer stated that anyone who has bought the affected product and has an allergy or intolerance to milk should not eat it, but return it for a full refund.
The affected products are sold in Tesco stores across the UK, and the manufacturer highlighted that no other Heck products sold at Tesco are affected by the recall.
Heck has been approached for comment.
