In addition, Meat Management’s readers can vote for companies and individuals in the following additional categories: The Catering Butcher Award, Manufacturer of the Year, Best Equipment/Machinery Supplier, Best Trade Organisation, Best Online Business, Supermarket/Multiple Meat Retailer of the Year, Britain’s Best Butcher’s Shop, Training Scheme of the Year, Young Manager of the Year and The Excellence Award.

Awards organiser, Emma Cash, commented: “I would strongly recommend readers who have not yet entered products to enter as soon as possible.

“You can do it online, it’s free and once you’ve registered we’ll be in touch to let you what you need to do next. It’s so simple and we are keen to ensure all supermarkets, manufacturers, retailers and processors don’t miss out.

“We’re confident our judges will be kept busy when it comes to testing and tasting at Harper Adams University but we know there are still many great products out there so make sure you participate.”

In addition, guests will be entertained by illusionist and magician Ben Hanlin during the ceremony, who returns to host the event.
