The BPEX marketing team has appointed two new members of staff.
The review of the organisation and the development of a new marketing strategy have been completed and this has meant the creation of new roles.
Jane Charlesworth is communications manager and Carrie McDermid is brand manager.
Head of marketing Kirsty Walker said: “I am delighted to welcome Jane and Carrie to the team. They bring the skills we need on the team and they both have very relevant experience of working in the food industry. I’m looking forward to working with both of them.”
Jane, who has a BA in marketing and over ten years’ experience, joins BPEX from specialist food communications agency Pelican PR, where she had been for just over three years working as a senior consultant.
While there, her work included developing, delivering and monitoring the success of communication plans against set KPIs and message tracking as well as managing and implementing strategic and tactical activities.
Carrie McDermid is no stranger to the industry as her grandfather and uncles are pig farmers. She has previously worked as brand innovation manager at Boots and brand manager at the Happy Egg Co.
