Poultry meat producer Moy Park has revealed promotions for two of its senior members of staff.
David Halliday has been promoted to general manager at the Anwick branch. This role will see Halliday lead and manage activity across Moy Park’s Anwick site to deliver high standards of service and quality for customers.
Working closely with the director of operations, Halliday will take a pivotal role in ensuring ‘best in class’ performance to maximise operational effectiveness.
Halliday previously held the position of continuous improvement manager at Moy Park Anwick and interim factory manager at the company’s Anwick and Grantham sites. He has also held management positions across the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector with a particular focus on food production.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Manufacturing Engineering & Management from University of Strathclyde and has key management qualifications including Suiko Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Andrea Carver, meanwhile, has been promoted to the role of general manager at Moy Park’s Grantham site. The new position will see her lead efforts with the director of operations to deliver operational and managerial effectiveness.
In her promotion to this senior position, Carver has a key role in developing strategic decision making and planning at Moy Park Grantham.
Carver has over ten years of experience at Moy Park and a strong track record in operational and technical management. Her most recent position was that of factory manager at Moy Park Grantham.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Food Science & Manufacture from University of Lincoln and has completed Advance Leadership Training at Henley Business School.
