MULTIVAC UK launched its new Innovation Centre at an event on 19th September, with visitors able to view product demonstrations and launches. Guests also heard from speakers throughout the evening.
The new 850 square metre facility, located in Swindon, has been under construction for the last year. Now, it boasts a "dedicated space to run equipment of all sizes for new product development."
The Innovation Centre features a temperature-controlled room to replicate a factory environment, full processing and packaging line integration, a supermarket area and a meeting space.
At the event, MULTIVAC displayed a number of products including both compact solutions and large scale machinery, as product managers ran demonstrations for visitors.
According to MULTIVAC, with the equipment and improved space all under one roof, customers can be taken through the entire processing and packaging line without leaving the site. Product trials are now able to be run in the facility, allowing MULTIVAC to temper and test products.
A live butchery challenge, 'Man vs Machine', showcased TVI portioning machines in front of an audience of attendees, promoting the TVI GMS 400's butchery capabilities.
The evening concluded with an Oktoberfest event, highlighting the brand's German heritage.
