"]Organiser of the Awards Emma Cash commented: “For some years now we have staged this premier meat industry event at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. However we felt it was time for a change and the Vox hits exactly the right note with its contemporary feel and superb resources, including the new Genting Hotel. It has become home to a wide range of top quality events and I am very positive about the investment we are making on behalf of our partners and participants.“The central location remains very convenient and this was an important factor when we decided to keep the dinner and ceremony in Birmingham, which has always been a popular location with good road, rail and flight logistics.”Editor of Meat Management magazine Pam Brook added: “We are really excited about the move. As always we want to keep things fresh, vibrant and enjoyable. As the premier social and business activity for the wider UK meat industry, we always continue to strive for higher standards and we believe it’s vitally important that complacency does not set in and that we continue to provide a great venue together with a great experience for everyone involved.”Publisher of Meat Management Graham Yandell summed up: "Resorts World Birmingham is a very impressive destination. It’s an ideal location for 24-hour entertainment plus events and conferences in the West Midlands, whether shopping, relaxing, eating out or just visiting the great variety of bars with outdoor terraces. The 24-hour Genting International Casino is also very popular.“Resorts World is a destination offering so much all under one roof. It has a Cineworld Cinema with IMAX showing all the latest movies, as well as Vortex Gaming, now open to enjoy the latest Virtual Reality games alongside arcade classics and family favourites. You can even take a facial, or a massage plus a whole host of other treatments at the Santai Spa.“However, the main thing is that our Awards event will be occupying a fantastic and impressive space at The Vox, with great food and service within a quality environment, which I know everyone will enjoy. There are also excellent hotel facilities at Resort World and others nearby to suit all budgets.“It is going to be a great occasion.”The Meat Management Industry Awards are scheduled for 2nd July 2020.
