Equipment supplier Bizerba UK has appointed Richard Watson as its managing director as the company looks to “expand its footprint”.
Watson, who previously served as managing director of machinery provider Reiser UK, stepped into his role at the end of August 2025. Bizerba said he brings a “wealth of leadership experience” as well as a “strong track record of success” in the food processing and packaging industry.
With more than nine years as Reiser’s managing director, Watson was said to have demonstrated a “consistent ability to drive growth”, as well as lead teams and deliver strategic results in highly competitive markets.
Bizerba stated that his appointment marked an “exciting new chapter” for the company as it continues to “expand its footprint” and “enhance its offering” to customers across the region.

Watson will be based at Bizerba UK’s headquarters in Milton Keynes, overseeing operations and strategy across the UK and Ireland. His immediate focus will be on strengthening customer relationships, enhancing operational efficiency and driving continued market leadership in retail, industrial, and logistics sectors.
