Three major charities, Sarcoma UK, Alzheimer Scotland and Scottish War Blinded have shared gifts totalling £8000 from the Scottish Association of Meat Wholesalers (SAMW).
The funds were raised during a charity auction at the Association’s 2014 conference and dinner and presented to representatives of the three organisations by SAMW president, Alan McNaughton.
"The charity auction is a long-standing feature of our annual dinner, with members and guests at this year's event coming together to enable us to make a contribution to the important work being carried out by Sarcoma UK, Alzheimer Scotland and Scottish War Blinded,” said Mr McNaughton.
