Supermarket retailer SPAR is recalling its Tikka Chicken Chunks, as it may contain small pieces of glass, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
Customers that have purchased the item are being urged to return it to the store where they bought it from and are being offered a full refund.
The retailer will also be displaying point of sale notices in each of its stores in which the product was being sold.
These notices will explain to customers why the product is being recalled and will inform them that the products must be returned.
The batch affected is the packet of 140g with use-by date the 19th May.
The FSA have warned that the product may contain small pieces of glass which could be highly dangerous if consumed.
No other SPAR products are known to be affected.
