Winners of the UKSW competition have previously reported increased interest and sales for their products following the competition results, and retailers who get involved can maximise on the profile that UK Sausage Week creates as the promotion often attracts national and local media interest and coverage.

Graham Yandell MBE, publisher of Meat Management, which organises UK Sausage Week, commented: “We are excited to once again open nominations for the UK Sausage Week competition. We are expecting record numbers of nominations this year, so to be in with a chance of winning an award, make sure you have nominated your sausages on the UK Sausage Week website.
