This year’s UK Sausage Week competition winners have taken to social media to celebrate and publicise their award-winning products. Take a look at what they’ve been saying.
Dales Traditional Butchers shared its Best Beef Sausage win, which was awarded for its unusual Beef & Marmite Sausage. It described the accolade as “a dream come true” after almost missing the awards due to train delays.
Porky Whites wins Best Cocktail Sausage two years on the trot
Fran White, managing director at Porky Whites, commented: “At Porky Whites we are thrilled to take home the Best Cocktail Sausage award for the second year on the trot! Our Surrey Cocktail Sausage is perfect for social occasions as we head into the festive season, and we’re exceptionally proud to offer this award-winner to our customers.”
Korker Sausages takes home Best Frozen Sausage once again
The Cranberry & Stilton Sausage from Korker Sausages Ltd has won for the second year in a row, proving the sausage is a real Korker! Category partner Foodmaker Ltd congratulated the business, calling it an “incredible achievement”.
Reed’s Family Butchers receives congratulations from customers and local businesses alike
Customers of Reed’s Family butchers praised the sausage for its flavour, with one commenting: “The best chicken sausage we have ever had. No wonder they won the competition. Well deserved.”
Others praised the team for their hard work, and customers commented that they had already put in orders to try the winning sausage!
Speciality sausage wins UK Supreme Sausage Champion
The British Premium Sausage Company was crowned twice in 2026, taking home the award for Best Speciality Sausage before winning the title of overall UK Supreme Sausage Champion for its Tennessee BBQ Pork Sausage.
Speaking after the awards, co-founder Andy Dalton said: “This is amazing - winning will certainly make a difference to our business! The support we’ve had from our team has really helped, and our customers, too. Hopefully our products will continue to go from strength-to-strength, and we will be back again next year to defend our title.”

Pilgrim’s Europe and Co-op take the win for Best Cumberland Sausage
Pilgrim’s Europe celebrated another win for the Co-op Irresistible Cumberland Sausage, which also won the category in 2024!
Co-op highlighted that the sausages also won Britain’s Best Sausage at the 2026 Meat Management Meat Industry Awards, proving that these are some seriously tasty sausages.
