With the Women In Meat Industry Awards ceremony scheduled for 11th November, the process to find this year’s finalists and winners opened for initial nominations in early June, and the final deadline of 11th July is now fast approaching.
Lead organiser of the event, Sharon Yandell, has urged everyone to put forward candidates who are working in various meat industry sectors without delay. This follows a very substantial uptake so far in nominations received for this year’s initiative.
A voting period will then follow the nomination deadline when finalists are listed via Meat Management magazine and the Women In Meat Industry Awards website, where online voting takes place.

The much anticipated presentations cover 12 categories and all will be revealed during the black tie event and dinner, which also features an after-party. Celebrity chef and TV broadcaster Rachel Allen will host this year’s ceremony and will make the presentations to winners at the 5-star Royal Garden Hotel, London, on 11th November
Originally launched back in 2018, the Women In Meat Industry Awards receives many thousands of votes each year and has become an important, not to be missed, networking date in the meat industry calendar.
