Organisers confirm food industry awards will take place as planned

The Food Management Today Industry Awards 2020 will go ahead as planned on 12th March in London with organisers, and the Royal Garden Hotel venue following Government and Public Health England guidelines around the Coronavirus/Covid-19.

The reassurance has been given to all guests, category partners and sponsors by the organisers and editor of both Meat Management and Food Management Today, Pam Brook said: “Guests, category partners and our readers can find a statement on the FMT Industry Awards page of the Food Management Today website and I think it is worth repeating. It says:

“For the avoidance of doubt, we can reassure all participants and guests attending the FMT Food Industry Awards and Ceremony, taking place at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington on 12th March 2020 that the event will go ahead as planned.

“We are following Government and Public Health England (PHE) guidelines. As a simple precaution the hotel has stepped up cleaning and housekeeping services / frequency, with increased cleaning of often touched surfaces, and antibacterial gels are provided in communal areas.

“We look forward to a highly enjoyable and successful event in superb surroundings.”
