Final countdown to awards product entry deadline

Final countdown to awards product entry deadline

With the deadline of 11th June fast approaching, organisers are reminding everyone to enter products and to vote in this year’s Meat Management Meat Industry Awards.

As anticipation builds for the highlight of the UK meat industry calendar, it’s the last chance to nominate products. This in turn offers participants the opportunity to get high profile recognition at the Meat Management Industry Awards ceremony this coming September either as a winner, a finalist or as highly commended.

The deadline for entries is 11th June so the organisers are urging everyone not to delay. Nominating products is quick, easy and free, and full details on how to nominate products in various categories can be found at www.meatmanagement.com/awards.

The Product categories are:

Britain’s Best Burger
Britain’s Best Meat Pie
Britain’s Best Sausage
Best Poultry Product
Best Free From Product
Best Bacon Product
Best Pork / Pigmeat Product
Best Lamb Product
Best Beef Product

Each year the industry’s biggest and most prestigious awards celebrate everything that is exceptional across the industry, recognising the best manufacturers and producers, suppliers, retailers, individuals and organisations in the UK meat sector.

Product judging takes place at The Regional Food Academy located at Harper Adams University and full details on how to deliver nominated products are provided in advance so that all products can be sent in on time.

Voting in the other categories is still available to readers of Meat Management magazine and meatmanagement.com, plus the wider industry.
