The Meat Management Industry Awards is heading for another record year, so organisers have decided to extend the product nomination deadline slightly to Thursday 17th June.

Winning products will be revealed at the awards ceremony on 9th September.

This extension is to allow as many companies and businesses to participate as possible.

Editor of Meat Management magazine, Jane Connolly, said that once again the Awards go from strength to strength.

“We just want as many products to be in the mix as possible,” she said, adding: “It really is amazing to see so many being involved right across the industry, both large and small.”

Product nominations can now be received by 17th June latest. Then the products themselves must be delivered on Tuesday 22nd June to the Regional Food Academy at Harper Adams University, where judging takes place.

Nominating products is quick, easy and free, and full details can be found on the official awards page of the Meat Management website.

Lead organiser Sharon Yandell said: “We follow up by sending full information and details of how to send in products. It’s the last chance to enter and to stand the chance of receiving high profile recognition at the Meat Management Industry Awards ceremony this coming September 9th, either as a winner, a finalist or as highly commended."
