Chief judge and CEO of the Institute of Meat (IoM) Keith Fisher added: “The range and diversity of products was exceptional and it’s been a really interesting and enjoyable few days. I think the industry can be very proud of the products we have seen and that bodes well for a positive future.”

The results of the product evaluations, as well as reader voting in other categories, will be revealed at the annual black tie Awards ceremony and dinner on 27th June, held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, near to the NEC. The event, which will once again feature TV magician and illusionist Ben Hanlin, who is back by popular demand after a storming success in 2018, will also include live music from top circuit band The Talent playing for the Awards after party.

Organiser Emma Cash confirmed: “It is the biggest annual event of its kind serving the UK meat industry, with well over 400 guests expected. The message is don’t miss this incredibly popular dinner and ceremony, for what is a key networking opportunity for the industry.”
