The Worshipful Company of Butchers (WCB) has announced it will host a screening of the documentary ‘World Without Cows’ followed by a panel discussion at this year’s City Meat Lecture in October.

Bookings are now open for the City Meat Lecture 2026, which is taking place on Thursday 22nd October at Butchers’ Hall in London.
At the event, the Worshipful Company of Butchers will host a special screening of the documentary ‘World Without Cows’ by Alltech to support its theatrical launch and tour. The documentary looks at the role of livestock in sustainable food systems and the screening will be followed by a high-profile topical panel discussion facilitated by event chairman Assistant Stuart Roberts.
Featured speakers will come from across the value chain, with panellists to be announced shortly.
The event is sponsored by ABP and is open to everyone in the meat industry, including Liverymen and non-Liverymen.
