The unique and prestigious annual initiative celebrates women working in the British and Irish meat industries. More than 10,000 votes were received this year, once again confirming the popularity and importance of the Women In Meat Industry Awards.

As usual, this year’s awards programme will culminate in a black-tie dinner and ceremony at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday evening 20th November, where the winners of each category will be revealed.

Organiser for the event Jenny Bullock commented: “This year we will once again be celebrating in style at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, with guests welcomed at a sparkling drinks reception before being seated for dinner. Following the evening’s entertainment and awards presentations, the dance floor will open up for the ever popular after party.

“Our VIP host is sporting legend Sally Gunnell OBE and this much-anticipated dinner and ceremony will highlight many talented people from across the meat industry. It is set fair to be another wonderful occasion.”
