The 2026 FMT Food Industry Awards finalists have been published, with many businesses within the meat industry named on this year’s shortlist.

The FMT Food Industry Awards is a long established annual initiative that celebrates the hard work and creativity of those within the British and Irish food industry, with manufacturers, suppliers, training providers, retailers and ingredient companies recognised alongside retailers and trade bodies.
Finalists are put forward to win awards across 15 categories, including Best Red Meat Product, Best Poultry Product and Best Bakery Product.
The full shortlist can be viewed here.
Awards will be presented to the various category winners at the exclusive awards luncheon and ceremony on Friday 12th June at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, with comedian, actor and impressionist Luke Kempner set to host the annual event.
Graham Yandell MBE, publisher of the Food Management Today annual awards review publication, commented: “It is a delight to be able to announce this year’s finalists ahead of the ceremony on 12th June, and I offer my congratulations to all of the shortlisted businesses.
“Many of this year’s finalists, including people, are prominent in the meat sector, which highlights how members of the industry can get involved across different sectors to raise their profile and promote their products.
“Winners are not pre-informed and will be exclusively announced at the lunchtime ceremony if they are a category winner, so be sure to book your tickets now to ensure attendance. Our host Luke Kempner will keep guests laughing at this year’s ceremony, and we are looking forward to welcoming him to the Royal Lancaster Hotel for what promises to be another memorable occasion.”
