Product judging for the popular Food Management Today Food Industry Awards, which had previously been postponed due to lockdown restrictions, will now take place in April 2021.
Delivery of all nominated products will be required at Harper Adams University Regional Food Academy test kitchens in Shropshire on Tuesday 20th April 2021.
The final deadline for nominating any additional new products is 29th March and product entries still remain welcome at this time, including various meat and allied categories, plus the opportunity to vote for the prestigious Food Industry Champion. “We are looking forward to judging a great array of brilliant products and celebrating and recognising the very best of the food processing industry.”
Sharon Yandell, lead organiser for the FMT Food Industry Awards, commented: “The recent Government announcement was a great relief as it paves the way for the judging of products and ultimately gives us the opportunity for a physical ceremony, which we hope we can shortly confirm as either late June or early July.
“We already have a record entry of products which is very exciting and we will be contacting everyone who has already nominated products with an update on arrangements.
