Meat and poultry manufacturers still have a chance to enter their products into the 2017 Food Management Industry Awards, before the entry deadline of Friday 9th September.
As well as the Best Red Meat Product and Best Poultry Product awards, those in the meat industry can also enter products into the Best New Product Development, Most Innovative Packaging Development, Best Frozen Product, Best Bakery Product and Best Free From Product categories.
Meat Management and Food Management Today editor, Emily Ansell Elfer, said: “If you’ve not yet nominated your products I would urge you to do so. This is a great opportunity for meat and poultry manufacturers, as well as wholesalers, caterers, independent retailers and supermarkets, to showcase the brilliant work that is being done in their companies.
“There are only a couple more weeks before the deadline closes, so don’t hesitate to nominate your products online for free.”
Chef and TV broadcaster, John Torode is to host the 2017 FMT Food Industry Awards ceremony and lunch that will take place in London on Friday 3rd February 2017.
