The Food Management Today Food Industry Awards product nomination deadline is one week away and organisers are encouraging the meat industry to get involved.
The awards feature manufacturers, retailers, foodservice, trade organisations, machinery and equipment suppliers, plus training providers as part of its programme.
Companies are encouraged to nominate their products into this year’s initiative before the Friday 7th February deadline.
A number of categories for 2025 are of particular interest to the meat industry as follows:

The winners of each category will be revealed at the awards ceremony and business luncheon, held on Thursday 26th June at the 5-star Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London.
Publisher of Meat Management magazine, Graham Yandell MBE, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for members of the meat industry to nominate their products and recognise those who have worked particularly hard.
“Many categories in the FMT Food Industry Awards are relevant to the meat sector, and I would encourage businesses to nominate their products - whether it be a meat pie, a scotch egg or a frozen lamb joint, the possibilities are broad!
“Nominated products will be judged by our panel of experts, who assess each product against a strict criteria. However, you have to be in it to win it, so make sure to get your nominations submitted before the Friday 7th February deadline.”
