The Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust has announced the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) as the main sponsor of this year’s Nuffield Farming ‘Super’ Conference.
The conference will be held at Sandy Park in Exeter on 14th-16th November 2023, and is open to all members of the agricultural, horticultural, rural, and land-based industries.
The three-day agenda includes a welcome buffet, formal annual dinner, two days of Scholar presentations, and a pre-conference farm visit to nearby Wastenage Farms.
Central to the event will be around 35 presentations by Nuffield Farming Scholars who have finished their international travel studying a wide range of topics pertinent to the food, farming, horticultural and rural industries.
Topics covered include the competition between livestock and alternative proteins, cost benefits of electronic data monitoring for UK sheep and beef farms and an evaluation of beef cattle selection methods for profitability in grass-fed production systems.
