MM Awards product nomination deadline this Friday

MM Awards product nomination deadline this Friday

Organisers are reminding everyone that the product nomination deadline for the 2021 Meat Management Industry Awards is this Friday, 11th June.

Product judging takes place at the Regional Food Academy located at Harper Adams University.

Lead organiser Sharon Yandell said: “It’s the last chance to nominate products, which in turn offers participants the opportunity to get high profile recognition at the Meat Management Industry Awards ceremony this coming September 9th, either as a winner, a finalist or as highly commended.

“It’s by far the biggest and most prestigious event of its kind in the industry and we expect another record entry. We then will send all participants the information they need to deliver products for evaluation and judging.”

Nominating products is quick, easy and free, and full details can be found on the official awards page, which provides full details on how to nominate products in various categories.

Voting in the other categories is also still available to readers of Meat Management magazine and meatmanagement.com, plus the wider industry.

The finalists and winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony planned to take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on 9th September. Tables and tickets can be reserved now online at www.meatmanagement.com/awards-tickets.

Product categories are:

  • Britain’s Best Burger
  • Britain’s Best Meat Pie
  • Britain’s Best Sausage
  • Best Poultry Product
  • Best Free From Product
  • Best Bacon Product
  • Best Pork / Pigmeat Product
  • Best Lamb Product
  • Best Beef Product
