Morrisons recalls its ‘Savers Cooked Ham’

Morrisons has recalled its ‘Savers Cooked Ham’  following the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in the product.

Listeria monocytogenes have been detected in Morrisons Saver Cooked Ham.

The recall specifically refers to Morrisons’ 200g pack of cooked ham, with an expiry date of 11th September.

The company has displayed point-of-sale recall notices in all its stores and says the move is a precautionary measure as there is a possibility that this product may pose a microbiological risk if consumed.

In its statement Morrisons said: “We advise anyone who has purchased this product not to consume it and return it to their nearest store for a full refund. No other products or date codes are affected.”
