Argo Poultry has instigated a recall for its Whole Cooked Chickens as the company has been producing and selling products with a shelf-life that is beyond the validated shelf-life.
The recall specifically refers to all sizes of Argo Poultry’s Whole Cooked Chickens with dates between 20th April 2016 and 4th May 2016. According to a statement put on the Food Standard’s Agency website, this is unless an ‘A’ prefix is on the label in front of the weight.
The company has recalled all affected batches and is contacting its immediate customers.
Customers who have purchased the product should not eat it and should return the product to the store where it was purchased.
