This year’s date for the much anticipated Women In Meat Industry Awards ceremony and black-tie dinner has been confirmed as Friday 11th November by organisers YPL Exhibitions & Events.
Lead organiser Sharon Yandell said: “We are making a minor change to our Women In Meat Industry Awards date and bringing it forward to the Friday evening of 11th November. Our original proposed date of 25th November now clashes with the England v USA Football World Cup game, following the recent tournament draw, and we anticipate that a big game like this might potentially affect attendance, hence the change.
“It is also important that we give our participants and partners the opportunity to attend without any pressure or clash of priorities. With eight-months still to go it leaves plenty of time for what is a minor change in the diary.
“Our venue, the 5-star Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London remains in place and as always, we are looking forward to a superb evening of celebration on 11th November for this truly unique event – one of my personal favourites.”
TV celebrity chef and author Rachel Allen will host the ever popular dinner and the organisers expect a sell-out occasion.
