Cleone Foods has issued a recall on two of its patty products, after it was found they do not contain the wording “use by” with the date code information that indicates the date by which the products can be safely consumed.

Products affected include the Island Delight Jerk Chicken flaky Patties 140g and the Island Delight Lamb Shortcrust Patties 140g.

According to the Food Standards Agency, the products can be consumed within the date stated at the bottom of the pack (26/03/2017), but not past this.

The patties were sold at Tesco, Co-operative, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland and Nisa-Retail stores.
