Organisers of the Meat Management Meat Industry Awards are finalising preparations for this year’s product judging process, as the nominations deadline of Friday 24th May is fast approaching.
The Meat Management Industry Awards is the industry’s annual awards initiative which celebrates the very best in the UK and Irish meat industry. Each year, the programme culminates in an awards ceremony and black-tie dinner, which once again will be held this year at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Thursday 19th September.
There are ten product categories that readers of Meat Management magazine, meatmanagement.com and the wider meat manufacturing and retailing sectors are welcome to enter.
Product nominations and awards voting will close on Friday 24th May, and entrants who have nominated products will be contacted with all the relevant details regarding when to send products for judging at Harper Adams University.
Readers can also nominate individuals and businesses across ten voting categories up until the deadline. Included in these categories are Best Equipment / Machinery Supplier, Best Trade Organisation and The Catering Butcher Award, to name a few.
Editor of Meat Management magazine Joanna Thomson said: “Time is running out to nominate your products into the Awards. I would encourage businesses, suppliers and manufacturers of all sizes to enter their products and vote for their 2024 winners. Winning products often see a huge increase in business, but of course you have to be in it to win it.
“As the trade’s biggest event of its kind, this year’s event is set to be another showstopper. Tickets are on track to sell-out, so be sure to grab yours before they go!”
